It's a beautifully illustrated introduction to some of the inspirational stories of Nobel Peace Prize winners.
I learnt some interesting facts I didn't know and my 5 year old found it really accessible too. It's thought provoking and offers up great starting points for discussions without being too heavy.
Let's face it right now things are so heavy but finding ways to talk to our children about why we need the peace makers is more important than ever.
The final page asks what Peace means to you, this sparked a lovely conversation. For me it's about love and care for each other and our planet.
My daughter said Peace is looking after all animals and people as much as we look after ourselves. She wishes she could help anyone who has been hurt by bombs get to the doctor's and one day she wants to be in government so she can tell anyone who wants to throw bombs to just go home.
