I'm delighted to share that I was chosen by Jacqueline Gold CBE, for my success as a female entrepreneur, and awarded with a prestigious #WOW badge.
Women on Wednesday (#WOW) takes place every week and Jacqueline looks for a business that has strong brand values and the potential to grow and succeed in their industry. She looks for quality products and services, well designed websites and entrepreneurs who have spotted a gap in the market that meets people's needs.
As you may already know, Smallkind is a family business, founded by me, Natalie, for parents who want to make more sustainable choices without compromising on design or blowing the budget. Life with little ones is hectic and busy so Smallkind has done the research for you, carefully selecting our brands, to make eco feel easy.
I'm passionate about ethical brands who put people and the planet before profit and Smallkind supports local charities such as Zarach a local bed poverty charity.
Jacqueline Gold says: “Natalie started Smallkind after realising the environmental impact her family of four were having on the world. By slowly starting to buy more eco-friendly products, Natalie quickly realised it was difficult to do this in one place. It's so important to make a conscious effort to do better for the environment for our children's future and Natalie is doing just that and making it easier for others to follow in her first steps. Well done and welcome to WOW!”
The WOW Community is a fantastic network which offers female entrepreneurs the opportunity to share advice, support each other, trade and most importantly celebrate their successes!”
Natalie says: I'm absolutely over the moon to have been chosen by Jacqueline and to have the chance to join other female founders in the WOW community. After the challenges that the pandemic has thrown at small businesses it wonderful to be recognised in this way and receiving the WOW award was a much needed boost. We'll be proudly displaying the badge on our website!
